Bowering Homes is proud to be a leading participant in our area in the New York State Energy Star labeling program. All our homes are built to these stringent guidelines that require a home to be at least 30% more energy efficient and therefore offer more home for your money including greater performance, lower utility costs, and greater comfort.
We know building a new home is a probably the single biggest investment our customers will make and therefore deserves to be built to these exacting standards. Our Energy Star homes are built to these high standards and incorporate the latest proven technologies along with traditional craftsmanship in their installation.
To qualify for Energy Star, each home must be labeled as such and pass a stringent evaluation of energy usage including a computer based energy analysis, and be field tested and certified. The benefits to you are as follows:
